Polyhedron Pod Tiny House
Today, we will introduce you to the Polyhedron Pod Tiny House, suitable for the minimalist life of your dreams.
Polyhedron Pod Tiny House was designed by Colombia based manual villa arcquitecto firm. Located in the backyard of a house in Bogota, this house is designed for a couple’s newborn son. The idea of setting a different environment than the home environment for the child’s reading or leisure activities was prioritized. In this way, the house acts as a bridge to reconnect with nature and landscape. While creating the geometric design of the house, it was designed by taking into consideration the elements of reading skills and acquiring basic geometric concepts to improve knowledge.
Polyhedron Pod Tiny House has a different geometry, designed as a polyhedral cubic. The front part of the cubic shape is cut and opened to nature and this part is covered with a glass window. Windows have been built on the sides and upper part, thus making the best use of daylight. Enjoyable activities can be done on the wide wooden deck at the front. Black color is preferred on the exterior of the house and is likened to honeycomb.
In the interior of the house, natural wood veneer is used to adapt to nature. Since the surface at the front is completely glass, a spacious environment has been created inside. It also offers the opportunity to watch the view here. It offers the opportunity to watch the rain and the stars through the glass window above.
There is a table made of different geometries inside and a sofa that can be used as a resting area.
